Welcome to the Midwest Regional home of the American Breathmobile Association!

The Asthma & Allergy Association of Kansas City has joined forces with ABMA not only to grow and expand our terrific programs in the Kansas City area, including Superkids Camp and Junior Iron Chef, but also to bring ABMA programs and services to the American Midwest. We’re excited by the future, and welcome you to join us on this new, fulfilling path. As many of you already know, ABMA was formed to provide a national support base for the development of NEW Breathmobile programs across the country, as well as to expand our own programs to states outside of California. Our programs include Camp NoMoWheezin’,  a week long sleep-away camp for kids with moderate to severe asthma & allergies; the Air Power Games, track and field days that promote asthma and allergy education and management, and the National Breathmobile Conference and Educational Meeting “Breathing Matters”, a CME accredited event that offers both CME presentations and workshops on the Breathmobile program for potential Asthma Care Providers hoping to bring the Breathmobile to their communities.

The Breathmobiles, a series of “asthma clinics on wheels”  are each individually operated by Asthma Care Providers in communities in California, well as in several other cities, including Mobile, Phoenix and Baltimore, run by Asthma Care Providers in each.
